There was then an explosion at the police post.

Three of the 6 ‘attackers’ were found dead at the police post.

Three of the 6 attackers escaped to the nearby Starbucks and two started shooting.

Coordinating Minister for Security Affairs, Luhut Panjaitan, told reporters there were 5 terrorists, all of whom died during the attacks.

Krishna Murti, Director of Jakarta Police CID, said that there were more than 6 terrorists.

Untung Sangaji, a policeman who was on the scene, said he saw two more people escape on a motorcycle towards Tanah Abang.
